Returns the current state of every item in the batch. The endpoint is
scoped to the calling account — a customer cannot poll a batch_id that
belongs to another account (404 is returned in that case).
Recommended polling cadence: start at 5 s, exponential backoff with a
cap of 60 s. Items reach a terminal state (success or failed) within
a few minutes; large batches may take longer.
